ALICE joined fellow NYC technologists for an evening of live demos from companies developing great technology in New York City. The event was followed by a networking afterparty.
ALICE presented alongside an accomplished roster of New York City startups at April's New York Tech Meetup.
ALICE was joined by eight other NYC-based companies at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts - Connectidy, COSIGN, Devpost, Nex, Rukkus, Shutterstock, Sloth and Starry, Inc. - each of which gave live demos of their products to a chorus of ooohs and ahhhs from the audience.
ALICE's founders, Alex Shashou, Justin Effron and Dmitry Koltunov, showed how guest requests made via the app or via SMS are received and dispatched via the ALICE backend. They also talked about the benefits of ALICE's real-time language translation and API.
The audience was curious to know what other verticals we've expanded to besides hotels (answer: co-working spaces and residential), whether ALICE can keep track of how long it takes employees or departments to complete tasks (answer: yes), how we handle guest privacy (answer: a multi-tennant solution), and where we got the name for ALICE:
For those who couldn't be there for the live event, we've got video here, you can also contact us for a free demo and technology audit of your hotel. Also, we're hiring! Scrum Master, Front End Engineer, Full Stack Engineer and Data Analyst are some of the many roles we're looking to fill. Come join us and help revolutionize an industry!
